The EBM Process: Searching for the Evidence
Cochrane DARE

• Began in 1994 as a part of the British National Health Service Centre for Reviews and Dissemination (NHS CRD). Staff at NHS CRD identify potential systematic reviews and assess them against a set of inclusion criteria that seek to select only those of high methodological quality.
• DARE included in Cochrane Library
• There are currently over 6000 reviews in DARE.
• This is a collection of systematic reviews that were performed by other organizations and published in the Cochrane Library.
