Simplify Regimens

  • Simple rule: More complex, less adherence
  • Medications – simplify dosing (once-a-day if possible); time with activities (sleep, meals) as an option to time, place medications in highly visible areas
  • Aids such as medication boxes, writing medication taken on a calendar
