  • Keep your mask and use it more than once
  • Never place an N-95 mask on a patient - only medically-cleared health care workers can wear N-95s
  • Wear N-95s only for known or suspect TB
  • You may also be directed to wear N-95 masks may also be worn in the care of patients with suspected or known novel and/or highly lethal pathogens, e.g. SARS, smallpox, Marburg or suspect TB
